After a tough start to the season, Coops came out strong, applying early pressure and gaining good territory. Although Maldon fought back, Coops responded with a patient attack, with Charlie Harris going over to give Coops the halftime lead.

In worsening rain, Tom Moran managed the game brilliantly, keeping Maldon pinned in their half and adding 3 penalties to extend the lead. Unfortunately, Maldon replied with two late tries to level the game.

Despite not securing the win, it was a performance to be proud of and a step in the right direction.

Looking forward to building on this against Basildon next week.
